Oak Codefest is an annual student-run hackathon and the biggest hackathon for middle and high school students. It is also Bangalore’s first overnight hackathon for high schoolers and one of the most famous school hackathons in Bangalore. This year, the Oak Codefest will bring hackers from across India together to solve some of the world’s biggest problems on a virtual stage. With an all-new online format for the event, the Oak Codefest will also become one of the first online hackathons in Bangalore. Happening on the 23rd and 24th of January, 2021, the Oak Codefest will give hackers 24 hours of uninterrupted coding.

Submitting to this hackathon could earn you:
- Middle School Students/Juniors (grades 6-8)
- High School Students (grades 9-12)
You must make teams, of two to six members. Registrations will be on Devpost. The registration fee is 200 rupees per hacker.
Teams are expected to choose one primary theme for their project but are recommended to choose two or three sub-themes.

Hackers cannot reuse previous projects or plagiarize their code. Drag-and-drop software or WYSIWYG software is not allowed and will disqualify your team.
